Leaders from three water agencies spoke to a crowd of more than 150 people gathered Monday January 27, 2014 at the Rancho Mirage Public Library. This was the third panel The Desert Sun has sponsored to discuss the valley's water supply. Desert Sun Executive Editor Greg Burton moderated the panel, which included Environmental Reporter Ian James; Jay Famiglietti of the University of California at Irvine; John Powell, Jr., president, Coachella Valley Water District Board of Directors; Arden Wallum, general manager, Mission Springs Water District and Craig Ewing, president, Desert Water Agency Board of Directors.
